33. One who accomplishes himself after Jain ethics, attains glory akin to lush greenery along the Himalayas.
सत्तं बुद्धी मती मेधा, गंभीरत्तं च वड्ढती।
ओसधं वा सुयक्कन्तं, जुज्जए बलवीरियं।।34।। 34. जो सर्वज्ञशासन प्राप्त कर लेता है उसमें सत्त्व, बुद्धि, मति, मेधा और गाम्भीर्य की प्रशस्त वृद्धि होती है। जैसे पवित्र औषध के सेवन से तेज, बल और वीर्य की वृद्धि होती है।
34. One well-versed in Jainism automatically attains truth, wisdom, discretion, intellect and profundity as one is rendered healthy, and robust by the use of elixir.
पयंडस्स णरिंदस्स, कन्तारे देसियस्स य।
आरोग्गकारणो चेव, आणाकोहो दहावहो।।35।। 35. प्रचण्ड शासक राजा का, अटवी के मार्गदर्शक का या संसार वन के मार्गदर्शक गुरु का और रोगहारक वैद्य की उग्र आज्ञा का पालन न करना दुःखकारक है।
35. It is injurious to neglect the obligatory command of a great monarch, supreme guide in the vast labyrinthine wild world and a versatile physician.
सासणं जं णरिन्दाओ, कन्तारे जे य देसगा।
रोगुग्घातो य वेज्जातो, सव्वमेतं हिए हियं।।36॥ 36. नरेन्द्र के शासन का, वन के मार्गदर्शक या संसार वन के मार्गदर्शक गुरु का और रोगहन्ता वैद्य की आज्ञा का पालन करना अति हितकारी है।
36. It is sheer bliss to obey the command of such a monarch, guide and physician.
आणाकोवो जिणिन्दस्स, सरण्णस्स जुतीमतो।
संसारे दुक्खसंबाहे, दुत्तारो सव्वदेहिणं।।37।। 37. द्युतिमान शरण्य (शरण ग्रहण करने योग्य) जिनेन्द्र की उग्र आज्ञा दुःख से परिपूर्ण संसार में समस्त देहधारियों के लिए कष्ट से पालन करने योग्य है (तथापि उसका पालन आवश्यक है)।
37. The commandment of the Lord of Jainism is tedious and still it is incumbent upon every individual to obey it unflinchingly.
