इस तरह मोटे रूप में ये परिवर्तन अपेक्षित हैं । इनके अलावा संस्था के मुखपत्र 'जैन युग' को अधिक से अधिक प्रसारित करने का प्रयत्न भी करना अति आवश्यक है। पत्र के द्वारा आपस का सम्पर्क-सहयोग और सहकार बढ़ सकता है। इसके द्वारा ठोस सूझाव-संस्था की गतिविधि संबंधी जानकारी व समाज की दैनिक हलचलों के संबंध में काफी सुंदर ढंग से लिखा जाकर जन-जन तक पहुंचाया जा सके तो समाज की ठोंस सेवा होगी। __ भूत और वर्तमान पर विचार कर लेने के बाद भविष्य के लिये भी एक मुद्दे की और ध्यान खेंचना चाहेंगे। करीब १३-१४ वर्ष बाद भगवान महावीर के निर्वाण के ढाई हजार वर्ष पूर्ण होगें-यह जैन शासन का चिरस्मरणीय समय होगा। हालही में भगवान बुद्ध की इसी तरह की २५०० वी तिथि पर देश विदेश में सरकारी और गैर सरकारी स्तर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रमों से हमें प्रेरणा लेनी
चाहिये । हमारी कॉन्फरन्स इस संबंध में अभी से कार्य प्रारम्भ कर सकती हैं-जैन समाज के एक विशिष्ट वर्ग की प्रतिनिधि संस्था के नाते समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों की दुसरी प्रतिनिधि संस्थाओं से सम्पर्क स्थापित कर कोई ऐसा कार्यक्रम निश्चित करने में पहल करे ताकि वह अवसर आकर्षणीय कार्यक्रमों का केंद्र बन जावे । जिससे हमारी जैन संस्कृति का परिचय जैनाजैन सब ही प्राप्त कर सके। भारत का कोई कोना ऐसा न रहे जिस में भगवान वीर की वाणी न गुंजे, कोई शहर ऐसा न रहे जिसमें इस अवसर पर कोई यादगार रूप कार्य सम्पन्न न हुआ होवे।
ये हैं कुछ विचार जो कॉन्फरन्स के लुधीयाना अधिवेशन से पूर्व आप के पास कुछ मनन हेतु पेश कीये जा रहे हैं।आशा है लुधीयाना की कॉन्फरन्स वीर भूमि पंजाब में होकर पंजाब के समान मजबूत बन कर निकलेगी और समाज की महान संस्था बनेगी।

The Committee on Religious and Moral Instruction appointed by the Government of India in August last to make a study of the question of religious and moral instruction in educational insti. tutions in the country has emphasised in its report that it is most desirable that provision should be made for the teaching of moral and spiritual values in educational institutions in the country.
The Committee, which wants all difficulties in the way of providing moral and spiritual education to be surmounted, is of the view that many ills in the education world and in society as a whole today, which resulted in widespread disturbances were mainly owing to the gradual disappearance of the hold of religion on the people.
The report of the Committee, which was headed by Mr. Sri Prakasa, Gover- nor of Bombay was submitted to the Union Education Ministry recently. The other members of the committee were Mr. G. C. Chatterjee, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jammu and
