The maiden edition of Satprarūpanā in 410 pages was published on the 7th of November 1939. Credits for the authorship of the edition were made in this order: Prof. Hiralal Jain, editor - with Introduction, Translation, Notes, and Indexes : Pandit Phoolchandra Siddhanta Sāstri and Pandit Hiralal Siddhānta Sastri Nyāyatirtha were creditied as co-editors: Pandit Devakinandan Siddhānta Sāstri and Dr. A.N. Upadhye, M.A., D. Litt. were credited for research."
A second volume was followed within the year, and by 1942, the next three volumes were published. This team produced the first five volumes of Satkhandagama. Prof. Hiralal Jain had provided the input for the historical context in the European academic format: Pandit Phoolchandra had grammatical and linguistic expertise, and Pandit Hiralal Siddhānta Sāstri Nyāyatirtha had Prākrit etymology and nyāya based perspective for inference and validation. Secondary intelectual assistance had also came from many, notably Nathuram Premi. Devaki Nandan and Dr. A.N. Upadhye.
