Samvatsari Pratikramana
By reciting this sutra, we ask for forgiveness for any impoliteness shown towards ascetics. This Sutra is a request for forgiveness from Guru Mahārāj for breaches in respect committed towards the Guru. The devotee first asks the Guru for permission to ask for forgiveness. This sutra is normally recited after bowing down to the Guru and reciting 'Khamasamano Sutra' while performing 'Guru Vandan'.
Shravak with charvala will stand with head bowed down and hands folded, rest seated with bowed head and folded hands.
