rocks and fiercely on the waters, and thus proceed according to the musical tune, as it were, like the lutes played upon. - [ताली.] A species of the mountain-palm 'अथ वितुन्नकः, झटाऽमलाज्झटा ताली शिवा तामलकीति च' (इति भूम्यामलक्याः) इत्यमरः. उपजातिवृत्तं इन्द्रोपेन्द्रवज्रासंमेलनात्.

P. 157. L. 9. [ मट्टिआसअडिआए. ] This gives the name to the play. This toy cart was filled up by Vasantasenâ with her gold ornaments to get a golden cart for Rohasena. It was these ornaments which convinced the judges later on of Chârudattâ's guilt-these served as the positive proof of Vasantsenâ's murder by him. See page 249.
