This is the all-in-all of affection ; this is equally (comfortable) to the rich and the poor. This is a ( balmy) ointment for the heart though consisting neither of sandal nor of Us'fra, y metre. This is an instance of antiरस. 'स्फुटं चमत्कारितया वत्सलं च रसं विदुः । स्थायीवत्सलतास्नेहः पुत्राचालम्बनं मतं' &c.-Sahityadarpaņa III. 241. Cf.
