ચિત્ર ૩૪. દેવસા. ની પ્રત ઉપરથી. કેસરીસિંહ. પછી વળી, મોતીના હારને ઢગલો, દૂધને દરિયે, ચંદ્રનાં કિરણ, પાણીના બિંદુઓ અને રૂપાને મોટે પહાડ એ બધાની સમાન ગરા, રમણીય, દેખાવડા જેના પાંચ એટલે પંજા સ્થિર અને લઠુંમજબૂત છે, જેની દાઢા ગેળ, ખુબ પુષ્ટ, વચ્ચે પિલાણ વગરની, બીજા કરતાં ચડીઆતી અને અણીવાળી છે, એવી દાઢે વડે જેનું મુખ હામણું દેખાય છે એવા, તથા જેના બંને હોઠ ચેકખાઈવાળા, ઉત્તમ કમળ જેવા કોમળ, બરાબર માપસર, ભાયમાન અને લટ્ટુ છે એવા, રાતા કમળની પાંખડી જેવા કમળ સુંવાળા તાળવાવાળા અને જેની ઉત્તમ જીભ બહાર લપલપાયમાન-લટકતી છે, એવા, જેની બંને આંખો સેનાની મૂસમાં પડેલા તપાવેલા ઉત્તમ સેનાની પેઠે હલકલ કરે છે, બરાબર ગેળ છે તથા ચેકખી વીજળીની પેઠે ઝગારા માર્યા કરે છે એવી ઉત્તમ આંખવાળા, વિશાળ અને ખુબ પુષ્ટ ઉત્તમ સાથીવાળા, બરાબર પૂર્ણપણે ભરાવદાર એવા જેનાં ચોકખા કાંધ છે એવાં, તથા જેની યાળ-કેસરાવળી-કમળ, પેળી, પાતળી, સુંદર લક્ષણવાળી અને ફેલાએલી એવી યાળના આડંબરથી જે શોભિત છે એવા, જેનું પૂછડું ઊંચું, પછાડીને ઊંચું કરેલું હોવાથી ગોળાકારે વળેલું અને સુંદર છે એવા સૌમ્ય, સૌમ્ય દેખાવદાર, ગેલ કરતા, આકાશમાંથી ઊતરતા અને પોતાના મોંમાં પેસતા તથા નહોર જેના અણીવાળા છે એવા તથા જાણે કે મુખની શોભાએ પિતાનો પાલવ ન ફેલાવેલ હોય એવી સુંદર લટકતી જીભવાળા સિંહને તે ત્રિશલારાણી ત્રીજા સ્વપ્રમાં જૂએ છે.
ચિત્રમાં સિંહને બદલે ચિત્રકારે સિંહને સૂઢ સહિત ચીતરીને કેસરીસિંહની રજૂઆત કરેલી છે. સ્વપ્નના વર્ણન પ્રમાણે જ સિંહનું પૂછડું વળેલું તથા સિંહની જીભ લપલપાયમાન કરતી બતાવેલી છે. અહીં પણ ઉપરના ભાગમાં વાતાયનો રજૂ કરેલાં છે.

The third dream was a lion of a dazzling white colour, like a bunch of pearls, or the ocean of milk, representing lunar radiance, the drops of dew, whiter than the great mountain Vaitādhya pleasing and delightful to the sight, strong, muscular, and fat, with his members all properly rounded in the most elegant way, having a sharp well-formed jaw, a mouth beautiful as the periphery of a lotus. a fine muscular lip, with a palate like the red water lily, and the tip of his tongue hanging out of his mouth like fine gold being poured out of a crucible, while his bright eyes seemed like a ball of lightning. His chest was broad and his large well-made shoulders were adorned with a soft, bright, sleek, long-haired mane, while his tail was raised aloft with a circle in the centre, bounding like a ball, and possessing the good qualities as well as form of the moon. He seemed descending from heaven with open mouth, as if he was coming directly down upon us; lion with sharp strong claws, yet pleasing to the sight, and with a tongue hanging out of his mouth, beautiful as the petal of a lotus.
In the painting, the artist has represented a lion with a tongue protruding from his mouth on the blue background. The lion's tail is also flapping as mentioned in the text. The upper part of the picture, showing the entablature of the house is beautifully ornamented with a swan in the centre.
- ચિત્ર ૩૫. લક્ષમીદેવી. પાટણ ૧, ૨૧. ત્યારપછી વળી, તે પૂર્ણચંદ્રમુખી ત્રિશલા દેવી ચોથે સ્વને લહમીદેવીને જૂએ છે. એ લક્ષમીદેવી ઊંચા પહાડ ઉપર ઉગેલા ઉત્તમ કમળના આસન પર બરાબર બેઠેલી છે, સુંદર રૂપવાળી છે, એના બંને પગના ફણું બરાબર ગોઠવાયેલા સેનાના કાચબા જેવા ઉંચા છે. અતિ ઉંચા અને પુષ્ટ એવાં અંગૂઠા તથા આંગળીઓમાં એના નખ જાણે રંગેલા ન હોય એવા લાલ, માંસથી ભરેલા ઉંચા પાતળા, તાંબા સમાન રાતા અને કાંતિથી ચમકદાર છે. કમળની પાંદડીઓ જેવી સુંવાળી એના હાથ અને પગની
