Publisher's Note
It is a pleasure to publish selected papers that were read at the seminar on the Jaina Āgama Literature. The Seminar was held on 16th to 18th, October, 1986 with the financial aid granted by the UGC. It was organised by the Prakrit Department of the School of Languages, Gujarat Uni. versity. We are grateful to the UGC, for the aid and also to the Gujarat University for providing the necessary facilities. We are thankful to all those who presented papers and participated in the seminar,
