gems, jewels, and are extraordinary [ upto ] eminent. Op each and every foundation, a mound is erected. Those erected mounds are sixteen Yojanas in length and breadth, and a little bit more than sixteen Yojanas in height, and ( they ) are resembling in wbiteness to the ( heaps of ) conches, Anka jewels, jasmine flowers, drops of water, the collection of the foam obtained at the churning of nectar, wholly prepared out of precious stones, and extra-ordinary [ upto ] eminent. On each of those mounds there are eight auspicious flags and umbrellas over umbrellas. On each of the four sides of those mounds, there is a stool made of precious stones. Those stools prepared out of precious stones are eight Yojanas in length and breadth, four Yojanas in* thickness, wholly made of jewels, and superfine [ upto ] splendid., On those foundations ( stools ) of precious stones there are four images of Jinas having the same proportion of height (as they had), located in Paliyank' posture, facing to those mounds and installed there.
