Rāypaseniya-sutta.
Sūriyābha abode, with those i natural and arti.. ficial things and one-thousand and eight goldeir pitchers [upto] one-thousand and eight earthen pots and jars placed on excellent lotuses, filled to the brim with fragrant water, besmeared with sandal paste, (whose) necks were fastened. with thread, closed with white and blue lotuses; and which (jars ) were taken in the tender and delicate palms of the hands of ( celestial beings) and with all sorts of water, earth, pulses [ upto ] all kinds of medicinal herbs rape-seeds and with all pomp [upto] with great beating of musical instruments sprinkled coronation water over Sūriyābha god. When that sprinkling ceremony of Sūriyābha god was going on, some celestial beings showered fragrant and divine water over ( the court-yard of ) Sūriyābha abode which was capable of pacifying dust and small particles of sand without creating much water and mud. Some celestial beings destroyed, removed, demolished, pacified, and put down the dust particles. Some heavenly beings sprinked water, cleansed and plastered the Sūriyābha abode, cleaved and freed from dust the streets in the Bazzar and royal roads. Sɔme celestial beings equipped that Sūriyābha
