With regard to the Heroic Style, it may be noted that there are four kinds of Heroes: (1) dâna-vira, the hero of liberality, (2) dharma-vira, the hero of duty, (3) daya-vira, the hero of benevolence, and (4) yuddha-vira, the hero of war. Examples of these four are (1) Paraśu-râma, who gave away the whole world without affectation, (2) Yudhishthira, (3) Jimûtavâhana, and (4) Ramachandra.
