At the end we find the name of the owner written in a different handwriting from the rest of the Ms. - a stá afacerilor. silahlar foraft yfa 14 348%. The same hand has written a few marginal notes here and there. Contains all the 8 Adhyāyas complete. The enumeration of the sūtras made in this Ms. does not however appear to be correct. Age — Old in appearance. स्थादिशब्दसमुच्चय Syādiśabdasamuccaya 1428 No. 130 1887-91 Size — 101 in. by 41 in. Extent - [73-3=) 70 leaves, 9 lines to a page, about 32 letters, to a line. Description - Country paper, Devanāgari characters with HITTS. Margins ruled carefully in black, bold and legible writing generally correct. Red chalk used - no blank spaces. The margins of first leaf have two red tilakas. Leaves 59, 51, 26, 21, 20, 15 torn, and leaves 66-69 much inksoiled. Leaves 56, 70 and 71 wanting. Otherwise complete. Age - Considerably old in appearance. Author - Amaracandra, pupil of Jinadattasūri of the Vāyadagaccha. Subject - Declensions and their irregularities. The vowel-ending words are treated on leaves 1-24a. Then follow the consonant-ending words which are carried down to folio 55b. The work consists of a profuse commentary on the author's own ffats which occupy the first four leaves of the Ms. The next three Prakaranas treat respectively of सर्वनामगण, संख्यागण and रूढशब्दगण. While illustrating the text quotations from Kālidāsa (leaf 49, 13) and weer (leaf 13) among others occur. 19 (Der. Cat. Vol. II, Pt. II)
