2is शब्दात् तथायडौ प्रत्ययौ भवतः। द्वौ अवष(?'य)वौ अस्य समुदायस्य द्वितय. This is followed by the fragmentary prasasti beginning with ..'करोवरमणीषि समानता ॥१७ रतिगृहमकिंगम्यस्वर्णाग्निकंतितानां सुवित तुकनां प्रदानः । किदतावस्थानलक्ष्यसंहस्थेने तुलितमहिमा यः क्षमाकालोः १८ । यनदतः । १९ ॥ (corrupt) Thus only the last four or five verses of the prasasti are given; the rest together with other matter immediately preceding the prasasti is omitted, probably owing to the defective nature of the original from which this Ms. was copied.

श्रीपुंजराजः कुरुते मनोज्ञां सारस्वतव्याकरणस्य टीकां ॥२॥ इह ग्रंथस्य का निरन्तरायमीप्सितसिंध्यै शिष्टाचारप्रतिपालनाय च इष्ट
देवतानमस्कारस्वरूपं मंगलाचरणपूर्वकं श्रोतृप्रतिपत्तिद्वार सप्रयोजनं चिकीर्षितं प्रतिजानीते।
