स्वरूप' and अवताद्वो of which the first gives the name of the author as अनुभूतिस्वरूपाचार्य should not be at all commented upon in this place except in the words apsat etc.
-an omission which gains in interest when we compare ....... the colophon which ascribes the work to नरेंद्राचार्य,
कृष्णाश्रमश्रीचरणोपसत्तिमवाप्य संप्राप्तमतिप्रकर्षः । क्षेमेंद्रसूरिईरिभट्टसूनुः सारस्वते टिप्पणमित्यधत्त ॥१॥ व्याख्यागुणान् परीक्षे(क्ष्ये )ह चिरं नंदतु सजनः। .
दुर्जनोप्यसतो दोषान् दुष्टाशयपरिस्फुटान् ॥ २ ॥ इति श्रीनरेंद्राचार्यस(सा)रस्वते क्षेमेंद्रकृतं टिप्पणं समाप्तं ।। शुभं भवतु ।।

नरेन्द्राचार्य in the Colophon must have written some commentary on the Sārasvata Sūtras, if indeed ter be not another name for अनुभूतिस्वरूपाचार्य, whose work is the same as the one here commented upon. See 496 of 1884-87[ = Serial No. 179 above]. A नरेन्द्राचार्य is quoted by विठ्ठल (Oxford 161b) and by मंडन and अमृतभारति.
