Size - 104 in. by 47 in.
Extent - 22 leaves, 24 lines to a page, about 44 letters to a line.
Description - Country paper. Devanāgari characters of the Jain
type with पृष्ठमात्राs. Clear and beautiful handwriting very carefully written, the text in the centre in a bolder hand and the Avacūri round in a very minute hand. Red strokes of punctuation. Square blanks in the text as also in the Avacūri in some places, broad and carefully ruled margins. Fairly accurate and complete, apparently however 3rd leaf from the end is missing and the Me. ought to extend to 23 leaves. The last two leaves give the text of हैमविभ्रमसूत्रs, 21 in number and in no way differing from the कातंत्रविभ्रमसूत्रs, (q.v.)
Age - The Ms. is much old in appearance.
Author - The Uņādisūtras cannot be assigned to any particular
author. The Avacūri is by Hemacandra.
Begins - Text of the Sutra:- अहं । कृवापाजिस्व दिसाध्यशौनासनिजामिर
हीक्ष्यलण् etc. Avacāri : श्रीसिद्धहेमचंद्रव्याकरणनिवेशिनामुणादीनां ।
भाचार्यहेमचंद्रः करोति विवृतिं प्रणम्याईम् ॥ १॥ करोतीत्यादिभ्यो धातुभ्यः सत्यार्थवर्तमानेभ्यः संप्रदानापादानाभ्यामन्यउ(?)कारके भावे च संज्ञायां विषये बहुलमुण्प्रत्ययो भवति etc. The real 21st leaf being absent, there is no proper ending to either the sūtras or the Avacūri. One full double page of both is wanting. The first verse of the विभ्रमसूत्र and a greater part of the 2nd is also lost. The last 21st verse is :
अव्याधयोऽसमस्तं स्याये येषां चक्रिरे पदम् । अक्षेपयस्तथा वान्यदक्षे वयममीवयम् ॥ २१॥
