________________ away from home and is staying here without his parents knowledge or permission. His family has been looking for him frantically. Now that I have found him, I request you to let him return home with me. Gurudev replied: Of course brother... you can take him with you immediately. The Guru's prophecy comes true Amar was heartbroken at hearing these words. He started crying and said that he would not return home under any circumstances. Gurudev, in his wisdom, said: Child, go with your uncle. He himself will bring you back to me in the evening The words of a realized saint once uttered, have to be fulfilled... Amar's uncle took him to the house of Amar's sister who lived in Ambala. On reaching there, he saw his beloved mother sitting on the couch. She was overjoyed to see him after so long and hugged him close to her chest. Tearfully she told him that the whole family had been very worried about him. By the grace of God he had now been found. Now they could all go home together. Amar was also very happy to meet his family again, but he had no intentions of being separated from his Gurudev. He told his mother that he could never leave his Gurudev and pleaded with her to come and meet him just once and see for herself what a great saint he was. And so it transpired exactly as Gurudev had said : At his mother's request, Amar's uncle took them back to Shri Shukal Chand Ji Maharaj in the evening 19 amrender muni ji maharaj Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.orgPage Navigation
