को दर्शाती है. जैसे सूत्र नं. २ के शब्दार्थ में १. पंचिंदिय संवरणो शब्द में १. संख्या गाथा की संख्या को दर्शाती है. इसी तरह विशेषार्थ में भी मुख्य शब्द के साथ दी हुई संख्या सूत्र के गाथा की संख्या को दर्शाती है. जैसे सूत्र नं. ३५ के विशेषार्थ में '३. दो प्रकार के परिग्रह :-' और '४. अप्रशस्त = शब्दों में ३. और ४. संख्या गाथा की संख्याओं को दर्शाती है.
प्रतिक्रमणादि धर्म क्रिया की विधियों का विस्तृत सरल अंग्रेजी | भाषांतर हिंदी भाषा के साथ साथ दिया गया है. हिन्दी-अंग्रेजी भाषा में विस्तृत सरल परिचय के साथ प्रतिक्रमणादि में उपयोगी विविध मुद्राओं के चित्र भी दिये गये हैं. इस तरह यह संपूर्ण पुस्तक द्विभाषा - हिन्दी एवं अंग्रेजी में होने से दोनों में से किसी भी भाषी के लिए उपयोगी होगी.
प्रतिक्रमण सूत्र सह विवेचन नामक इस पुस्तक को पाठकों की सुविधा के लिये दो भागों में छपायी गई है. प्रथम भाग में सामायिक, गुरु वंदन, चैत्य वंदन व देव वंदन संबंधी नवकार महामंत्र से वेयावच्चगराणं तक के १ से २५ सूत्रों का समावेश किया गया है. दूसरे भाग में देवसिअ राइअ प्रतिक्रमण संबंधी शेष भगवान्हं आदि वंदन से सकलतीर्थ तक के २५ से ५१ सूत्रों का समावेश किया गया है.

Preface number of the sūtra. As in the word 1. pañcidiya samvarano in Literal meaning of the sūtra no. 2, the number 1. indicates the stanza number. Simillarly number given along with main word in Specific meaning indicates stanza number of the sūtra. As in the words '3. Two types of possessiveness :- and 4. apraśasta = of Specific meaning in sūtra no. 35, the numbers 3 and 4. indicates stanza number.

A detailed and easy English translation of the procedures of religious rites like pratikramana is given together with Hindi language. Pictures of various poses useful in pratikramana etc. are given along with detailed and easy introduction in Hindi and English language. In this way this book is very useful for people knowing any of both the languages as the complete book is prepared in two languages Hindi and English.
For the convenience of the readers, this book, namely pratikramaņa sūtra with explanation is printed in two parts. In first part, namaskāra mahā mantra to veyāvacca-garānam, 1 to 25 sūtras relating to sāmāyika, guru vandana, caitya vandana and deva vandana are being included. In second part, bhagavānham ādi vandana to sakalatirtha, 25 to 51, the rest of sūtras relating to devasia and raia pratikramana are being included.
