११. जग-चिन्तामणि चैत्य-वन्दन सूत्र विभाग ८३ sutra part
11. jagacintamani caitya-vandana आठ कर्म :
Eight karmas - १. ज्ञानावरणीय कर्म- आत्मा के ज्ञान गुण का आवरण करने वाला | 1. jnanavaraniya karma-karma obscuring the quality of knowledge of the कर्म.
soul. २.दर्शनावरणीय कर्म-आत्मा के दर्शन गुण का आवरण करने वाला 2. darsanavaraniyakarma-karma obscuring the cognitive power / power of कर्म.
right faith of the soul. ३. वेदनीय कर्म- सुख-दुःख का अनुभव कराने वाला कर्म. 3. vedaniya karma-karma experiencing the feelings of happiness and pain
/ sorrow. ४. मोहनीय कर्म- मोह आदि उत्पन्न करने वाला कर्म.
4. mohaniya karma-karma creating delusion etc. ५. आयुष्य कर्म- आयुष्य की समय मर्यादा निश्चित करने वाला कर्म. | 5. āyusya karma-karma determining the period to the age. ६. नाम कर्म- शरीर के आकार आदि की प्राप्ति कराने वाला कर्म. | | 6. nāma karma-karma causing the soul to acquire the shape of the body etc. ७. गोत्र कर्म-ऊँच-नीच गोत्र का बंध कराने वाला कर्म.
7. gotra karma-karma determining high and low family lineage. ८. अंतराय कर्म- दान, लाभ आदि में अवरोध करने वाला कर्म, | 8. antarāyakarma-karma making obstructions in charity, acquisitions etc. चैत्यवंदन = चैत्य [मंदिर / प्रतिमा को किया जाने वाला वंदन, caityavandana = Obeisance done to a caitya [temple/ idol]. चार विदिशाएँ = ईशान (पूर्वोत्तर), आग्नेय (पूर्व-दक्षिण), नैर्ऋत्य | Four intermediate directions :-Oblique directions of north-east, south-east, [पश्चिम-दक्षिण और वायव्य [पश्चिमोत्तर दिशा.
south-west and north-west. भारतीय और अंग्रेज गुणात्मक संख्या :
Indian and English cardinal numbers - १,००,००० [एक लाख].. = १/१० [एक दशांश] मिलीयन [मिल्यन] | 1,00,000 [one lac].......................... ..............%3D1/10 [one-tenth]million १०,००,००० [दस लाख]......................= १[एक] मिलीयन | 10,00,000 [ten lac].....................
