________________ Society, Epistemology and Logic in Indian Tradition brahmanical culture on Jinasena, Somadevasūri, Āśādhara and Vardhamānasūri. Vardhamānasūri's Ācāradinakara is an important work which discusses about the sacraments of house holders and saints from the Jaina point of view. Concept of fourfold sangha or tīrtha is a religious organization, but it is intermingled with the society in many forms. Its social aspects cannot be denied. Concept of society is quite wide ranging and logical in Jaina philosophy and religion rather than the other philosophies of Indian and western tradition. Jainism is considered as worldwithdrawing religion due to its emphasis on the attainment of salvation, but it gives proper attention on the right activity of a person towards the society of all beings of the world including the society of human beings.
