778. The saffron paint applied to the lower lip is mostly wiped out (gryf#3r) in the act of kissing, remaining yellowish (45) only on its edge-line (H ), while the eye-brows come out in black, being combed (fafofast) with nails.

The lips ( UTATH ), throbbing with excitement (HEHE) and shining bright with rouge, appear like wells filled with cranes, corresponding with the white rows of teeth which the lips cover and hence called दसणवास. 786. The charm of hair-braids, decorated with Damanaka petals along with bits of Marubaka clusters, now goes away (Fig), with only a few Kunda flowers, now turned brownish, remaining.
