The question turns upon how टादौ in the Sutra. 'दो वे टादौ च' is to be con. strued. The author says that the compound 'ret' is to be taken as अतद्गुणसंविज्ञानबहुव्रीहि like 'दृष्टसागरम्' in 'दृष्टसागरं पुरुष
