18. The ascetic who gives clothes, utensils, blankets or padprochhana to obstinate ascetics or supports the ones who gives so.
19. The ascetic who accepts the clothes, utensil, blankets and foot pad from the noncompromising ascetics and supports the ones who accepts so.
20. The ascetic who offers "Upashreya" (place of stay) to the stubborn ascetics or supports the ones who does so.
21. The ascetic who accepts "Upashreya" (place of stay) from the adamant ascetics or supports the ones who does so.
21. The ascetic who accepts the Upashreya (place of stay) from the adamant ascetics and supports the ones who accepts so.
22. The ascetic who enters into the Upashreya of adamant ascetics and supports the one who enters so
23. The ascetic who delivers discourses to the obstinate ascetics and supports the ones who delivers so.
24. The ascetic who listens the discourses of the adamant ascetic or supports the ones who listens so a laghu chaumasi expiation comes to him.
विवेचन - जो दुराग्रही भिक्षु सूत्र से विपरीत कथन या विपरीत आचरण करके कलह करते हैं या गच्छ का परित्याग कर स्वच्छन्द विचरते हैं, उनके लिये सूत्र में "वुग्गहवक्कंताणं" ञ्जाब्द का प्रयोग किया गया है। यहाँ ऐसे साधुओं की संगति करने का, उनसे सम्पर्क करने का ये उनके साथ आदान-प्रदान आदि व्यवहार करने का प्रायश्चित्त कहा गया है।
Comments-The term 'viggahavakkantaanam' has been used here for a dogmatic ascetic who speaks or acts contrary to the Sutra (scripture) and indulges in dispute or abandons the Gachchha to move about free. Here atonement has been prescribed for the fault of contacting and mixing with such heretics or having relationship with them, including that of give and take.

25. जे भिक्खू विहं अणेगाह-गमणिज्जं सइलाढे विहाराए संथरमाणेसु जणवएसु विहार - वडियाए अभिसंधारेइ, अभिसंधारेंतं वा साइज्जइ ।
26. जे भिक्खू विरूव-रूवाइं दसुयायतणाइं अणारियाइं मिलक्खूइं पच्चंतियाई सइलाढे विहाराए संथरमाणेसु जणवएसु विहार- वडियाए अभिसंधारेइ, अभिसंधारेंतं वा साइज्जइ ।
25. जो भिक्षु आहार आदि सुविधा से प्राप्त होने वाले जनपदों (क्षेत्रों) के होते हुए भी बहुत दिन लगें ऐसे लम्बे मार्ग से जाने का संकल्प करता है अथवा करने वाले का समर्थन करता है।
