It was scribed in V.S 1566. The followirg colophon is appended at the end of the manuscript :
“cha. subham bhavatu lekhaka-pathakayoḥ śi sanghasya ca. sarvat 1566 varse caitra sudi 2 tithau adyeha srimadanahillapattane Śrī vrhat-kharataragacche śri Vardhamānasūrisantāne śrī jinabhadra sūripattānukramena śri jinahamsasürirajye väcana charyajayākäjaganišişya vä. dharma-vilāsaganivāc anārtham bha. Vastupalabhāryayā liliśravikayā. Putraratna bha, sāliga pumukhaparivära saśríkayä suśreyārtham ca lekhitam śri Räjapraśniyopāngam.
(9) This manuscript was obtained from the collection of Punamchand Buddhamal Dudheria of Chhapar (Rajasthan). Each leaf is 12" x 5". There are 42 leaves and 84 pages in this copy, with 15 lines in each page and 48 to 54 letters in each line. Two illustrations are given in the first two pages. The script is beautiful but abounds in mistakes. Approximately it belongs to the sixteenth century.
(3) This manuscript also was obtained from the collection of Punamchand Buddhamai Dudheria of Chhapar (Raj.) It contains 41 leaves and 82 pages, with 15 lines in cach page and 57 to 60 letters in each line. The script is ordinarily fair but flawless, It ends with the following colophon--"lipi saṁvat 1665 varse kārtika māse śukla pakşe saptami śukre Babberakapure pandita Labdhikallolaganinā lekhi.”
(T) It was obtained from Shrichand Ganeshdas Gadhaiya Library, Sardarshahar. Its size is 101 X4}". It contains 52 leaves and 104 pages, with 17 lines in each page and 65 to 70 letters in each line. This manuscript was scribed in V.S. 1605 and ends with the following colophon :
"iti malayagiriviracitā tåjapraśniyopāngavsttikä samarthitā. samāptam iti. pratyakşaragananayā {ranthägrań. cha, cha. pratyakşaragananāto granthamānari viniścitam. saptatrimśatšatányaira. ślokánām sarvasam khyayāḥ, cha, granthāgram sloka 3700, cha. Gri. sarvat 1605 varṣe śrāvana sudi 13, bhaume pattana västavyam, pandita Rudrasuta Jiganātha likhitam. śubham bhavatu. JIVĀJIVĀBHIGAME
The text of this sütra has been revised on the basis of manuscripts and its vtti.
The vrtti by Malayagiri is based on old adarsa, hence the texts of paim leaf and the vsiti are identical. The sūiras 3218, 457, 578, 826 together with their footnotes may be consulted in this connection. A great variety of readings in the relatively later editions provides ample room for deliberation and research
