Rajju-Arddhaccheda-Log, (1 y = 4545: 45 or 4000 miles) Raidhu Raidhu's father was Harisimha and his grandfather Devarāja. His mother was Vijayasri. His two elder brothers were B ābola and Mahaṇasimha. Savitri was his wife and he had a son Udayaraja. Raidhū was composing his Arit thanemicariu when this son was born to him. Raidhū was a pious śrāvaka and he spent his time in literary pursuits and Mūrtipratiṣṭhā.
Nearly 23 works of Raidh u are known. But the MSS. of some of them have not come to light as yet. Gwalior was the main scene of his literary activities, and the image of Adinatha, 57 feet in height, in the fort of Gwalior, was consecrated at the hands of Raidhu, who possibly acted as the high priest. He makes ample references to his predecessors and their works. Raidh specifies his patrons like sri Kheu Sahu, Ranmala Sahu and Bhullana Sahu. He has high praise for Gwalior (Gopacalanagara), the Tomara dynasty and the king Dungarsimha who was a great patron of Jainism. Raidhu received patronage from Dungarasimha and his son kirtisi mha as well as from another contemporary ruler Rudrapratapa Chauhana. From the data available from his works Raidhu's literary
