નામને ગ્રંથ મળ્યા છે. તમારે આ ગ્રંથ ગુજરાતી સાહિત્યમાં એ જાતનું પ્રથમ પુસ્તક છે. સાધારણ કેળવણવાળા વિદ્યાર્થીને સંસ્કૃત ભાષાનું જ્ઞાન થેડા વખતમાં સારી રીતે આપવાને જે સ્તુત્ય યત્ન તમે ઘણી મહેનતથી આ ગ્રંથમાં કર્યો છે તે ઘણે અંશે પાર પડે છે એમ કહેવું અતિશયોક્તિયુક્ત નથી. વ્યાકરણના નિયમેના સારે સંગ્રહ કરી તેમને સહેલાઈથી સમજી શકાય એવી રીતે ગોઠવવામાં આવ્યા છે. અન્ય પુસ્તકમાં યથેષ્ટ નહિ દશૉવેલું એવું વ્યાક્યરચનાનું પ્રકરણ આ પુસ્તકને અતિ ઉપયોગી ભાગ છે.
જ્ઞાતિએ વણિક અને ધંધે વેપારી હોઈ આવે સારે સંસ્કૃતને અભ્યાસ કરી તેને લાભ જન સમૂહને તમેએ આપ્યું છે, તે માટે તમને ધન્યવાદ ઘટે છે.
કદાચ થી સ્ત્રી તથા વાચાં વધુ સુર્યને વન એ મહાન કવિ ભવભૂતિના ન્યાયાનુસાર ટીકાકારે પુસ્તકમાંથી ભૂલ કાઢશે પરંતુ તમારી મહેનતનું ફળ આ પુસ્તક તેના ઉપભેગીઓના હાથમાં જશે ત્યારે માલમ પડશે.
સંસ્કૃતિને અભ્યાસ શરૂ કરનારને તથા મેટ્રીક્યુલેશન અને બીજી યુનિવર્સિટિની પરીક્ષાઓ માટે સંસ્કૃતનો અભ્યાસ કરનાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓને આ પુસ્તક ઉપગી થશે એમ મારું માનવું છે.

It is, to my knowledge, the first attempt to deal systematically and exhaustively with Sanskrit grammar in the Gujarati language, and as such deserves all praise and encouragement. . Various rules of Panini are very lucidly explained by the author. and great pains have been taken to treat the
ustive and critical way I make no doubt it will be quite welcome to College-students and those who wish to add to their elementary knowledge of Sanskrit by private study. So far, the book leaves nothing to be desired and will give satisfaction even to the most fastidious Vyakaran Acharya. It would have been much better if however for the benefit of the beginners, the subject of conjugation of verbs had been divided into convenient parts, and more profusely illustrated.
