નવાનગર સ્ટેટના વિદ્યાધિકારી) ને મત. Sanskrit Bhasha Pradeep is a book on Sanskrit Grammar and Syntax written in Gujarati on an entirely new plan. The object of the writer is to facilitate and thus popularize the Study of Sanskrit, so far as this may be consistent with the acquirement of a sound and thorough knowledge of the language. The Chapter on Syntax is a valuable feature of the book and will prove of great use to students. The vocabulary at the end gives the “Anubandha" of each root. If the roots be learnt along with the "Anubandha," a great deal of trouble would be saved to the student. There can be no doubt that the book gives a fuller and more systematic treatment of the subject than is usual in English books. JAMNAGAR,
