A space to the width of two cells is used in making the ante-chamber to the sanctum, in which the daghoba stands. The cells are not symmetrical, but are about 9 feet square (see plan). One cell corresponds rooghly to each inter-columniation. The ante-chamber to the sanctum lies in the centre of the rear wall. It is 26'-6" x 16' ( 26' x 12'] and is open in front, save for two octagonal pillars. Against its north-eastern and south-western walls are the groups of figures described below. From the centre of the antechamber, in rear, a door, 15' x 6', leads to the sanctum a chamber 20'-3" x 17'-10" and 17'-6" Ligh [20' 18 x 17'). Within the sanctum is a daghoba of the usual type. The daghoba is 17'-6" high and is connected with the roof of the chamber. PLAN OF STUPA IN CAVE NO 2. Sule.Q.D.
