Jaina religion by his high learning and spiritual practice. It is from him that I derive constant inspiration for my research work after the death of Rev. Muni Shri Punyavijayaji.
INTRODUCTION
I am grateful to Rev. Pamnyasa Shri Pradyumnavijayaji, a diligent scholar of Jaina Literature including Jaina Agamas, averse to wordly aspiration, especially fame, who extended his affectionate cooperation to me by informing me about Shri Kulkarni's essay about which we have given details in this Introduction and by supplying me a Xerox copy of the same. I am grateful to Rev. Muni Shri Dharmadhuramdharavijayaji, a great scholar, who helped me prepare Appendixes included in this volume.
I express my heartfelt thanks to Trustees, members of Jinagam Prakashan Samiti, Samiti, Hon. Secretaries of Shri Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya for their constant sincere efforts in accelerating the publication work. I pray the Protecting Deity of the Jaina Religion to create conditions conducive to the publication of useful works like the present one.
In sipte of his delicate health, Shri K. D. Kora, Hon. Director of Jinagam Trust and Sahitya Publication, devotionally worked hard and took keen personal interest in the publication work.
