One of those princes, who ruled [1] औं नमः शिवाय ।। औं [1] over the whole earth, was a lord of men 'white. नमः स्सकलसंसारसागरोनारहेतवे | of character and white with fame.' The name तमोगाभिसंपातहस्तालम्बाय शम्भवे ।। [१] of the prince is not distinctly given, but from धेतहीपानुकाराः कचिदपरिमितैरिन्दुपादैः पतद्धिthe epithets applied to him I conclude that it नित्यस्यैस्सान्धकाराः कचिदपि निभृतैः फाणिपैम्भोगभागैः[] was Dhavala. सोष्माणो नेचभाभिः कचिदतिशिशिरा ज(हुक-) Verses 9 and 10. He conquered his enemies न्याजलौघैon the battle-fields; from the defeats inflicted रित्थं भावबिरुद्धैरपि जनितमुदः पान्तु शम्भोजटा व:||[२] by him they have not recovered even now. भोगीन्द्रस्य फणामणीयुतिमिलन्मौलीन्दुलोलांशवो ____Verse 11. Samkuka's wife was Drengi. मन्दं यच स्फुरन्त्यो धवलनराशरोवारिजन्मान्तराले ni (P), the daughter of a twice-born, who bore | स्पष्ट पीचन्मृणालाकुनिकरावाभान्ति मौलीन्दुभासः [v] to him a son, नेचकोडपसकोज्वलदहनशिखा (पि.) ___Verses 14 and 15.
