296. Non-initial p is substituted by i.e. formaata.
299-300. The Gen. sing. termination for words ending in t is आह and the plural आहे in मागधी; e.g. एलिशाह for ईशस्य, शोणिदाह for शोणितस्य; शय्यणाहूँ for सज्जनानाम् etc. The usual forms in Prakrit are also found; e. g. HATTF, alăsator for A etc.
301. अहं and वयं are substituted by हगे in मागधी.
302. In other particulars the aurai dialect follows the rules of शौरसेनी. The शौरसेनी dialect is the base of मागधी of which following are the special characteristics :
(a ) , # and are respectively changed to , st and a; and q is not changed to .
(b) A conjunct of which # or q is a member retains a (i. e. in conjuncts a is not changed to st; e. g. HIHETOTEA and not HATTEST. )
(C) and g are changed to fz; FT and to Fl; a to 77; न्य, ण्य, ज्ञ and r to ञ; च्छ to श्च क्ष to ४क (to स्क in प्रेक्ष् and 277977.)
(d) तिष्ठ is changed to चिष्ठ.
(e) In case of nouns ending in 37, the Nom. sing. ends in g; Gen. sing. in ti or Fg; and Gen. pulral in 2ě or 07.
(f) अहं and वयं are substituted by हगे.

303. g in garaî is ehanged to 54; e. g., 959 for aşr etc.
304. p in the declensional forms of 152 is changed optionally to faa, e. g. Triant, difat for visi and 715..
305. F and og are changed to 5a; e. g. 45957, 9794FHT for कन्यका, पुण्यकर्मा.
306. In aantat, a is changed to a; it means there cannot be o in qenet, or, in other words, i. 228 and 229 are not applicable to पैशाची.
307. In dazt, a is not dropped nor changed to as
