एक कुडुल्ली पचहिं रुद्वी = iv. 422. 14. 432. प्रियः आयातः, श्रुता वार्ता, ध्वनिः कर्णे प्रविष्टः ।
तस्य विरहस्य नश्यतः धूलिरपि न दृष्टा ॥ " The lover has returned ; (so ) I heard the news ; his voice has fallen on my ears; I do not now see even the dust ( ashes) of the separation that is disappearing, dying." 434. सदेशेन किं युष्पदीयेन यत्सगाय न मिल्यते ।
स्वप्नान्तरे पीतेन पानीयेन प्रिय पिपासा कि छियते ॥ “What is the use of your messages when you do not give me your company? Can thurst be quenched by water drunk in a dream?"
दिक्खि अम्हारा कतु = 1V. 345.
बहिणि महारा कतु = iv. 351. 436. अत्र तत्र द्वारे गृहे लक्ष्मीः विमष्टुला भवति ।
प्रियप्रभ्रष्टेव गौरी निश्चला क्वापि न तिष्ठति ॥ " Fortune is fickle and runs here, there, at the door, in the house, and does not stay firm at any place like the fair maid away from her lover.”
438. The jou termination of the potential passive participle becomes इएव्वउ, एव्वउ and एवा.
एतद् गृहीत्वा यन्मया यदि प्रियः उद्धार्यते (त्यज्यते)।
मम कर्तव्य किमपि नापि मर्तव्य पर दयिते ॥ The commentator says : केनापि सिद्धपुरुषेण विद्यासिद्धये नायिका प्रति धनादिकं दत्वा भर्तरि प्रार्थिते नायिकाया उक्तिरियम्. “ If I am to give up my lover by accepting this (money), then I have nothing else left except death."
देशोच्चाटन शिखिक्कथन घनकुट्टनं यद् लोके । ___ मंजिष्ठया अतिरक्तया सर्व साढव्यं भवति ॥ * The Hagt plant which is excessively red ( very much in love ) must bear all this in the world such as being uprooted-form the region, boiling over fire and being crushed by hammer. "
स्वपितव्यं परं वारितं पुष्पवतीभिः समानम् । जागरितव्यं पुनः कः बिभर्ति यदि स वेदःप्रमाणम् ।।
