99. बाल्ये पनि संतिष्ठते इति वाल्यसंस्थः | B1 supplements the context by quoting the folowing : का*: पद्मवने घूति न कुरुते हंमपि पोदके मूर्खः पण्डितसंगमे न रमते दासोप सिंहासने कुस्त्री सत्पुरुषे सदा न रमते नीचं जनं संघले या यस्य प्रकृतिः स्वभावजनिता दुःखेन सा त्यज्यते ॥ विद्यारत्नं सरकबिता भोगरत्न मृगाक्षी वाक्ारएनं परमपदत्री मानरतं तुरङ्गः । अम्भोरस्नं विदशस टिनी मासरत्नं वसन्तो भुमुलं कनकशिखरो मूर्तिरत्नं जिनेन्द्रः ॥ Both of these verses are found in the Subhashitaralnabhäṇḍāgāra (N. S. Press, 1952, p. 84, verse 21, and p. 115, verse 45) with some variations of which केनापि न रयज्यते, for दुःखेन सा स्मज्यते, and नृसिंहः for जिनेन्द्रः are.worth noticing.

108. B1 and Ba lave विधीयते, instead of विषोगताम् This shows that the author, or at least the cupyists, do not differentiate between the Present Passive Indicative and the Passive Imprative. And it is why we have the former in the place of the latter in a number of places in this work.
111. कृते कार्ये ई.ट. यस्मिनाये । नित्रकारकात् – चित्रकारद्वारा इत्यर्थः ।

This verse is found in the Bhujaprakantda (up. cit. p. 7, verse 38 }, Prabandhachintamanı (op. cit., p. 22, verse 35) etc. To supplement this verse, B adds tle following: "एतत्काञ्यय ( क्षणात् प्रबुद्धेन मुजेन मोजो न हतः । न धरणी धरणोपर मुंगई नकन भूपति भूषर सिंगई। गते कौरवपाण्डव जगघणी वसुमती कामहि आपणो ॥

127, गोला ( Prakrit ) गोदावरी तीरं समर्पितम् - तोपर्यन्तमभयाप्तं राज्यं समर्पितमित्यर्थः Cf. भोजसोमायां न स्थातव्यम् etc. in verse 129 below. B1 supplenients राज्यं पालयते राजा सत्यधर्मपरायणः । विजित्य परसैन्यानि क्षिति धर्मेण पालयन् ॥ आशामानफलं राज्यं चकले तपः । परिशानफलं विद्या दत्तभुक्तफलं धनम् ॥ The last verse is found in the Dvalrinis atputlatiles ( Wpakhyana, 11 ) and in the Subhashitaraabhaagara (p. cif.g P. 157, verse 186/.
