Amber Shastra Bhandar ::
The Amber Shastra Bhandar, formerly known as the Bhattarak Devendrakirti Bhandar, was originally lodged in the Digambar Jain Temple of Neminath, Amber. The learned Bhattarak (18th century) collected a large number of manuscripts during his life time and made the Bhandar a Centre of Jain Studies. In course of time, the collection was removed from Amber and was placed in the Mahavir Bhawan MANIHARON KA RASTA, Jaipur.

The Bhandar possesses a valuable collection of 2605 rare manuiscripts and 150 Gutakas in languages like Apabhramsa, Sanskrit, Prakrit Rajasthani, Hindi, Gujarati, etc. It is also a growing library of published works which helps the researchers to check up references.
Some notable and rare manuscripts are the UTTARPURAN of Mahakavi Puspadanta (copy dated 1334 A, D.) and the AMAR SEN CHARITA of Manikaraj. Some of the old manuscripts of the Bhandar are the PARASHVAPURANA of Padam kirti (10th century). A commentary on Kiratar juniya and transcript copies of the works of Sakala Kirti, Brahma jinadas, Banarsidas, Keshava and Bibari also belong to this collection,
The happy feature regarding the Bhandar is that it has brought out a series of catalogues of the manuscripts preserved not only in this Bhandar b'it also in other Bhandars of neighbouring region. Among other activities of the Bhandar may be mentioned, the publication of literature relating to Jainism. It is financed by a fund belonging to religious Endowment of the Digambar order,
