We have seen above that Meru is situated to the north of Kailâsa and the Himalayas. The first of the Varshas to the north of हिमवान् was किम्पुरुष. Next to Kimpurushavarsha was Harivarsha. To the north of this valley we should look for y , which was situated between the Naishadha and the Meru on the south and the Nila and the Meru on the north
