Extent.—- 11 leaves; 12 lines to a page ; 28 letters to a line. Description.—Country paper ; Devanāgarī characters; hand-writing good; two lines in red ink on all the four borders which are painted red; paper is old and musty.
A hymn in praise of Ganesa in which a thousand epithets, each beginning with the letter ग, are strung together. Siva recited the hymn at the request of Parvati. It is taken from Rudrayāmala. The text, of course, differs from that of the other Ganapatisahasranama-stotras. Age. -- Appears to be old.
