It contains eight verses in praise of Balatripurasundari purporting to be taken from Rudrayamalatantra. Age. Appears to be fairly old. Author. Anonymous. Begins.- fol. 1b

वरदाभयपुस्तकाक्षमालां विलसत्पाणिसरोजभासमानां । शरदींदुसहस्रकोटिसदृशां परमानंदमयीं प्रणौमि बालां ॥ १ ॥ etc.
इति शंकरामालिनी कटाक्षादपि बालाकष्टक्रमीडितं प्रणम्य । पठमिति पुरतोनात बसाने भवति सः खलु सर्वसंपदाढ्यः ॥ ९ ॥ इति रुद्रयामले बालाष्टकं संपूर्ण ॥

Country paper; Devanagari characters; hand-writing legible; benedictory phrase and the last colophon tinged with red pigment; paper old, worn out and musty. The codex contains this work on one side and Balastaka 1004 (ii) 1891-95
on the other side of its single leaf.
It is a hymn in praise of Balatripurasundari, purporting to be taken from Jñanarṇava-tantra. It is different from Balahydaya No. 282.
