It begins on fol. 119; fol. 202 is 1883-84. missing ; after folio 213, 18 leaves have no numbering; then numbering begins with i and after fol. 48, the num. bering restarts with I and the last folio bears the number 86. The last 80 leaves have a small part of their left hand bottom corner burnt.. .
The work is a commentary, op: Matangaparamešvara tantra, the aphorisms of Matangan who as an ascetic worshipped God Siva. . We have here. (1) Vidyapada, (2) Kriyapada, (3.) Yogapada apd (4) Caryapada. There seems to be some confusion in the Ms., as, even in Vidyapada we find the following colophons : fol. (unnumbered)
Tore and on fol. 46 (numbered ) , Falar TETO. Many of the colophons have simply Aaraar. The Ms. described in the Calcutta Sanskrit College Catalogue (see below ) agrees at places with our Ms. There are partial agreements with the ..O... Catalogue Ms: po. 2606. The author of the commentary, Ramakan. thabbatia was the son of Narayana Bhafta and disciple of
Utpaladeva. Age.-- Appears to be fairly, old, Author.- Rājānaka Rámakaņtha Bhatte.
