गजचर्मपरीधामं पद्मपत्रायतेक्षणं . ... नमस्कृत्य महादेवं विश्वव्यापिनमीश्वरं ॥२॥ . देव्युवाच॥
देव देव महादेव शरणागतवत्सल ॥
हयग्रीवस्य पंचांगं कृपा करु दयानिधे ॥३॥ शिव उवाचे॥
श्रुणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि पटलं देवदुर्लभं ॥

तस्मात्सायं तथा प्रातः मध्यान्हे च विशेषतः । . स्तत्वा जपंति देवेश इछसेछमवाप्नुयात् ।। मधुकैटभहंतारं देवं हयसिरोधरः। मंत्रमुक्तिस्मरेद्यस्तु नाशुभं प्राप्नुयाक्वचित् ॥ . इति मंत्ररहस्ये हयग्रीवस्तोत्रं संपूर्णम् ॥
