श्रीगणेशाय नमः ॥
नमस्ते भगवन्नाथ शिवाय गुरुरूपिणे विद्यावतारसंसिद्ध स्वीकृतानेक विग्रह १ नवाय नवरूपाय परमार्थैकरूपिणे । सर्वाज्ञानतमोभेदभानवे चिद्घनाय व २ स्वतंत्रा दयालुतविग्रहाय शिवात्मने
The work is an important stotra of त्रिपुरसुन्दरी देवी who is a manifestation of शक्ति. This is also called त्रिपुरसुन्दरीस्तवराज and forms part of रुद्रयामल. The present m begins with त्रिपुरास्तोत्र according to वामकेश्वरतन्त्र which ends on fol. 3. Then the remaining portion is according to रुद्रयामल. There are 6 mss of त्रिपुरसुन्दरीस्तवराज described in Madras Govt. O Mss. Library Cat. ( Nos. 10751-56, pp. 7336-38), but only the first verse of these mss. is identical with our पञ्जमीस्तवराज beginning on fol. 32. Age. - Sam. 1898. Author.— Anonymous. Begins. fol. rb
