ચાર ચંદ્ર અને ચાર સૂ, ધાતકી ખણ્ડમાં ૧૨ ચદ્ર અને ૧૨ સૂર્ય, કાલેદદ્ધિ સમુદ્રમાં ૪૨ ચંદ્ર અને ૪૨ સૂર્ય અને અપુષ્કર દ્વીપમાં ૭૬ ચંદ્ર અને છર સુ એમ અઢીદ્રોપમાં ૧૩૨ ચદ્ર અને ૧૩૨ સૂર્ય છે. એ ચર એટલે ગતિમાન છે અને પાતપેાતાના માંડલે ફેર છે અદ્વીપ બહાર અસંખ્યાત ચંદ્ર અને અસંખ્યાત સત્ય છે તે સ્થિર છે. મટીદ્વીપમાં ૧૭૨ ચંદ્ર સ કેવી સ્થિતિમાં છે તે આ ચિત્રમાં ખતાવેલ छे. जंबूद्वीप में २ चंद्र और २ सूर्य, लवण समुद्र में ४ चंद्र और ४ सूर्य, धातकी खण्ड मे १२ चंद्र और १२ सूर्य, कालोदधि समुद्र में ४२ चंद्र और ४२ सूर्य और अर्द्धपुष्कर द्वीप में ७२ चंद्र और ७२ सूर्य इस प्रकार १३२ चंद्र और १३२ सूर्य ढाईद्वीप में हैं. ये सब चर अर्थात् गतिमान हैं और अपने २ मण्डल में फिरते हैं ढाईद्वीप के बाहर जो असंख्यात चंद्र और सूर्य हैं वे स्थिर हैं. ढाईद्वीप के अन्दर १३२ चंद्र सूर्य किस प्रकार फिरते हैं यह इस चित्र में बतलाया है. there are 2 moons and 2 suns in Jambu Dvipa, 4 moons and 4 suns in the Lavana ocean, 12 moons and 12 suns in Dhātaki Khanda, 42 moons and 42 suns in Kalodadhi ocean and 72 moons and 72 suns in Ardha Puskara Dvipa. Thus there are 132 moons and 132
suns in Adhi Dvipa and these moons and suns are not stationary e. g. they move in their own circles. There are also innumerable moons and outside Adhi Dvipa
