महामानव 89 The Soul's wandering in the transmigratory cycle (SAR), is due to its passions as attachment whereby the burden of Kārmic coverings on it, has been continuously increasing. On the destruction of all of them it shines in its full supreme spirit.
(૮૯) જીવનું આ ભવભ્રમણ એના દેશે અને કર્માવરના યોગે છે. એમને નાશ થતાં (એ દેશે નષ્ટ થતાં, એ કર્યાવરણે ખસી જતાં) એની પરમાત્મતા પ્રકાશમાન 4114 .
भूयो भवावतारः स्यान मुक्तस्येश्वरस्य वा । मुक्तस्य नासौ मुक्ति यो अध्येत यद्यसौ ॥ ९० ।।
90 The emancipated soul or God is never born again i. e. never returns to the phenomenal world. That can never be emancipation, if an emancipated soul were to return to the world ( Samsāra ).
[ As a seed being utterly burnt up there is no possibility of the springing up of a sprout, so the seeds of Karma being utterly burnt up there is no possibility of the sprouting of rebirth or transmigration. )
