महामानर 126-129 He stayed at Pāvāpuri in Magadha, in the custom-house of Hastipāla the ruler of the city, to spend His last rainy season and while in the last grand assembly where-in the eighteen heads of the Republic of Kashi and Kaushala were present, delivering His last speech throwing great light on Dharma, He-seventy-two years of age-being devoid of all the remaining karmas during His last moment's rest, departed from worldly life and attained the formless and perfect emancipation on the fifteenth day of the dark half of Kārtika during the latter part of night when about an hour and balf was left.
(૧૨૬-૧૨૯) મગધની “પાવાપુરી (જે આજના બિહાર” નગરથી સાત માઈલ પર છે) ત્યાં “હતિપાલ” રાજાની રજજુગસભા( જકાતશાળા )માં ભગવાન અતિમ ચતુર્માસ રહ્યા.
બહોતેર વર્ષની ઉમ્મરના ભગવાન કાર્તિક (ગુજરાતી આસો મહીનાની અમાસની રાત્રિ ચાર ઘડી શેષ રહેતાં, અન્તિમ વ્યાખ્યાન-પરિવદમાં, જેમાં કાશી-કેશવના ગણરાજાઓ અઢાર ઉપસ્થિત હતા, ધર્મના પ્રદીપરૂ૫ અંત્તિમ ધર્મોપદેશ કરતા હતા તે વખતે છેલે જરા અટકી જઈ સર્વથા નિષ્કર્મા બનવા સાથે નિર્વાણ પામ્યા.
