(श्रावक धर्म विधि प्रकरण )
एएहि तदहिगारितणं धुवं लक्खणेहि नाऊणं । गिहिधम्मं गाहिज्जा, सिद्धंतविराहणा इहरा ॥ १२ ॥
१२. गृहस्थ धर्म का वह अधिकारी निश्चय रूप से गृहस्थ धर्म के उक्त लक्षणों को आत्मसात कर फिर श्रावक धर्म को ग्रहण / अंगीकार करें अन्यथा वह सिद्वान्त - विराधक / सर्वज्ञ की आज्ञा का उल्लंघन करने वाला होता है।
____12. The seeker should first properly understand and accept these attributes and then follow the shravak-vrats. Otherwise he becomes a transgressor of the principles or a violator of the tenets of the omniscient.
सम्मत्तमूलिया ऊ, पंचाणुव्वय गुणव्वया तिष्णि । चउसिक्खावयसहिओ, सावगधम्मो दुवालसहा ॥ १३ ॥
१३. सम्यक्त्व मूल है जिसका ऐसा श्रावक धर्म पाँच अणुव्रत, तीन गुणव्रत, चार शिक्षाव्रत रूप बारह प्रकार का है।
__13. The shravak dharm based on samyaktva (righteousness, i.e. a specific state of righteousness where right perception and right knowledge start translating into right conduct) has twelve types (limbs) including five anuvrats (minor-vows), three gunavrats (restraints that reinforce the practice of anuvrats), and four shikshavrats (vows of spiritual discipline).
तत्थ तिहा सम्मतं, खइयं उवसामियं खोवसमं । मिच्छत्तपरिच्चारण होइ तव्वजणं चेयं ॥ १४ ।।
१४. वहाँ (श्रावक धर्म में) सम्यक्त्व तीन प्रकार का है :१. कायिक, २. औपशमिक और ३. क्षायोपशमिक। यह (सम्यक्त्व) मिथ्यात्व का त्याग करने से होता है और मिथ्यात्व का वर्जन इस प्रकार होता है -
