________________ श्रावक धर्म विधि प्रकरण 41. The reasons for which an approval of ill-intention is accepted as that is to be completely involved in that activity based on ill intention. If a person is not completely involved in it, it is not approval. Moreover, the origin of unrighteousness is in attitude or intention and then only it is translated into activity. And intentions thrive within the self, others cannot be held responsible for them. एवं संवासकओ नत्थि । मिच्छेत्तऽणुमइसंभवो अह तत्थ वि इच्छिज्जइ, ता सम्मत्ते वि सो होइ ॥ ४२ ॥ । ४२. इसी प्रकार साथ-साथ रहने मात्र से मिथ्यात्व में अनुमति संभव नहीं है । यदि साथ रहने मात्र से मिथ्यात्व का अनुमोदन मान्य हो तो फिर उसी स्थिति में सम्यक्त्व में भी मिथ्यात्व का अनुमोदन संभव होगा । 42. Thus just by living together at one place does not necessarily indicate approval of unrighteousness. Even under those conditions there are chances of approval of samyaktva (righteousness) as well, if you so yearn. अह मन्नसि होइ च्चिय, कह न अभव्वाणमणुमई सम्मे । सिय तेसु वि को दोसो, मोक्खपसंगाइबहुदोसा ॥ ४३ ॥ ४३. यदि ऐसा ही मानते हो तो अभव्यजनों की सम्यक्त्व में अनुमति क्यों नहीं अंगीकार करते? उसे मानने में क्या दोष है ? वस्तुत: यह मानने पर अभव्य में मोक्ष की संभावना आदि बहुत दोष होते हैं । 43. If it is so why the transition of abhavya ( unworthy) into samyaktva is not acceptable (under the said conditions); what is the problem in accepting this? (Answer -) There are many problems in accepting this view, particularly in context of their liberation,.etc. १८
