धणाइ
दुपयाइ कुप्पमाणकमे ।
जोयण पयाण बंधण - कारणभावेहिं नो कुणइ ॥ ८८ ॥
८८. क्षेत्र आदि, सोना-चाँदी आदि, धनादि, द्विपद चतुष्पद आदि, कुप्यक अर्थात् ताँबा पीतल आदि के घर गृहस्थी के सामान के परिमाण / सीमा का चित्त विकार आदि के निमित्त से अतिक्रमण न करे ।

Under the influence of some mental lapse, one should not transgress the resolved limitation with respect to quantity or measure, distribution, control, purpose or needs related to area (etc.); gold, silver, and other such precious things; wealth (etc.); slaves and cattle (etc.); and utensils of copper, brass (etc.). उड्डाहो - तिरिय दिसिं, चाउम्मासाइ कालमाणेणं । गमणपरिमाणकरणं, गुणव्वयं होइ विण्णेयं ॥ ८९ 11

८९. चातुर्मास आदि चार माह से अधिक महीनों के लिए ऊर्ध्व दिशा, अधो दिशा, तिर्यक् दिशाओं में जाने-आने की मर्यादा करना दिग्परिमाण नामक प्रथम गुण व्रत कहलाता है ।
