(श्रावक धर्म विधि प्रकरण )
संमेहणा य अंते, न निमोगा जेण पव्वयह कोई। सम्म कोह मणिया, विहिसेसमिमस्स पोममि ॥११०।।
११०. बीवन की सान्ध्य वेला में (श्रावक के लिये) संलेखना अर्थात् समाधिमरण ग्रहण करना आवश्यक कर्तव्य नहीं है। इसी कारण यहाँ संलेखना का वर्णन/प्रतिपादन नहीं किया है। श्रावक के व्रतों में अनुक्त शेष कर्तव्यों का वर्णन आगे किया है।
110. It is not an essential duty of a shravak to perform the ultimate vow of Sanlekhana, widely mentioned in the Agams, during the last part of one's life. This is because, so detached a shravak can get initiated as an ascetic or take diksha any time. Therefor Sanlekhana has not been discussed here. The remaining duties of a shravak are detailed as follows. निवसेज तत्थ सहो, साहूणं जत्थ होइ संपाओ। केहयहराई य जम्मि, तयनसाहम्मिया पेव ।।१११॥
१११. श्रावक उस नगर में निवास करे जहाँ साधुओं का आगमन होता हो, जिन मन्दिर हो और साधर्मिक श्रावकगण रहते हों।
