________________ ( श्रावक धर्म विधिपकरण ) 29. Otherwise (if he does not have the strength to do so) he should close both his ears. Because when even an ascetic accepts falsehood if he listens to their preaching, where is the question of a mere devoted shravak who is weak (devoid of the knowledge of the Agams) and ignorant of the fundamentals like the knowledge about the living and the non-living? He is sure to accept falsehood. वयणविसंवायाओ, उप्पज्जइ संसओ फुड जं से। तम्हा तमणाययणं, मिच्छं मिच्छतहेऊ वि॥ ३० ॥ ३०. सुविहितों और यथाच्छन्दियों के वचनों अर्थात् आगम की व्याख्या में विसंवाद होने के कारण प्रकटत: संशय / संदेह उत्पन्न होता है, अत: उनके चैत्य, उपाश्रय आदि स्थान भी अनायतन अर्थात् निवास के अयोग्य हैं। क्योंकि वे सम्यक्त्व की अशुद्धि या मिथ्यात्व के हेतु हैं। 30. Due to the contradictions (from those of the true ascetics) the statements and commentaries and interpretations of the wayward evidently invoke ambiguity and doubts. Thus, being sources of unrighteousness, their places of stay (chaitya, upashraya, etc.) are also improper. इय सपरपक्वविसयं, सकारणं जाणिऊण मिच्छत्तं । पच्चक्खिय तिह तिविहेण पालणाभावणा एवं ॥ ३१ ॥ ३१. इस प्रकार स्वपक्ष और परपक्ष दोनों के विषय में मिथ्यात्व को उसके हेतुओं सहित जानकार मिथ्यात्व का त्याग करें और त्रिविध-त्रिविध रूप से भावपूर्वक उस त्याग का पालन करे। 31. Thus one should know, with reasons, the falsehood promoting factors of one's own school as well as the protagonists. And then he should resolve to avoid them and sincerely follow
