The annexed table does not give the geart in detail. It only einbodies the sunmaries of houses that are formed by Seart of 95 and ga starting from one rising to 20 pas, with respect to Tant. The
gures on the left hand side-from 1 to 20 represent the g5 of which the yeart is formed, pari passu, the gg as well in the Tear. The external right hand figures in the table indicate the number of formations of residential buildings under the number of 965 on the corresponding left hand external figures. The intermediate figures between these two externals, in the table, from the left to the right represent the numbers of houses with no af8=. one , two fores, tiree 3 s, etc. upto 203s in regular order, forined under the s-art of it and se till the right hand external figure which shows the number of houses under a TFT of 20 15s.
A specific instance will make this clear. Take the fourth horizontal line from the top of the table. It runs as

The first 4 on the left hand repersents the numbers of TG i.e. 4 Yes, while the right hand external figure i.e. 16 represent the number of houses formed under the arrangement of 4 yes. The intervening numerals 1, 4, 6, 4 and 1 stand for the numbers of houses with no BSF (), and 1, 2, 3 and 4 afres respectively i.e. I shows that only one house is formed in a seare of 4 Iis which has n) 37 at all. Then 4 represents 4 houses with one of 3, 6 represents 6 houses with two alores; the next 4 shows 4 houses with three Bors, and the last 1 stands for one house only with four les ma king 1+4 +6+4+1, 1.e. 16 houses in all.
Similarly take the 16th horizontal line
16 — the left hand external figure represents the number of ges whose heart is considered 65536 the extreme right hand figure in the table represents the number of houses formed by the year of 16 yas.
Then the intermediate numerals 1, 16, 120, 560, 1820, 4368, 8008 &c. 16, 1 indicate the numbers of houses with fã , one , two was, three His.........upto 15 is and 16 was in regular succession and so on, for the other horizontal lines in the table.
The right hand figures in the table show the possible number of flouses under different weats. The variety of these houses would be alarmingly great if elements other than we are taken into consideration. The varieties of houses, however, which have been used by Architects and Engineers are very few when compared with the vast multitude of possible houses. alamat and other works treat
