________________ To, नं. २२ पंडित बाळाजी विठ्ठल गावसकरनो अभिप्राय. HIS HIGHNESS MOHAN DEV JI, MAHARAJA OF DHARMPUR. MAY IT PLEASE YOUR HIGHNESS, That there are no bounds to my joy when a circular was put unto my hands so late as this morning from Pranjivan Jagjivan Medical officer by a friend of mine calling upon those who take interest in (f) (Ahimsa ) I have been throughout my life in search of Authority on the point and met unfortunately with none that could stand genuine altogether what I collected in the range of my researches proved to be totally spurious and I stand very able to refute anything that may be brought in vindication off on an intimation being sent to me by your Highness. In these days of Aryan degeneration it has been so dangerous by an uphill work to find the without of the obstenice and corrupted state of Aryan an Biglography. I confess it was my life long study to have ultimately to find that the Vedas prevent anything but f and hence in these gloomy days I rejoice to see Your Highness in the place of your noble ancestors of solar race-the great Viswakarma Devjee and Ramchandra who made many sacrifices without common thing themselves to the abhorance of consumming animal life. I beg leave to lay before Your Highness herewith two copies of a pamphlet named "Thoughts on Dasara" out of my several works bearing the subject. This pamphlet is particularly submitted to enlighten Your Highness on the absurdity and cruelty of ruthlessly killing of sheep goats and buffaloes throughout the country on the Dasara day; a high sin I implore God that personages like Your Highness may be convinced of and returned from to shed light in this land of Devas.
