"Hai aturant @ /Ha-gore, ater !/31
... a a7 37HQ Hentaici /fasi alargar e azi!” (q.(3) The second Canto starts with the dialogue between the Artist Shilpi and the mud Mati. It points out the common stresses and strains of life, and then rises to high philosophical cresendo. This is a unique device by which Acharya Vidyasagar passes on his message in poetry, without making it didactic. Epigrammatic lines and quotable quotes are rampant in this canto:
Vindictiveness is that fire/Which Burns the body and the self/From generation to generation. "ara a E 3G/I/GIAT / ,
797 t/89-!” (q. 8C) In this Canto, the entire theory of Rasa, figurative and rhetorical use in Indian Aesthetics is stated in the natural flow of poetry. The examples taken from day to day life are expressed in colloquial language. The Rasas elaborated are Vir (bravery), Hasya (Wit & humour), Karuna (Pathos), Bibhatsa (Hideousness), Vatsalya (love for the child) and in the end Shanta (Peace). It is the use of these rasas or emotions which give depth and feeling to poetry. Indian aesthetician has described poetry as 'sentences drenched in Rasa'. Kavyam Rasatmakam Vakyani. Acharya Vidyasagar has depicted the various moods, emotions and reflections in this canto with great agility. The spontaneous and powerful emotions are conveyed in lyrical captivating verses :
The culmination of all rasas/Is shanta rasa It murmurs, hums/In the hearts of saints. "a tala ESATT -/16-F

In the seven notes of music he envisons the delight and bliss of seven-modes of knowing the truth, as enumerated in the Jaina theory of Syadvad or Saptabhangi, which says that truth is multidimensional; to use Whitman's words 'it contains the multitudes'. The seven different attitudes reveal variety of meaningfulness. Hence no single attitude reveals its absolute meaning:
